okay. i have some from maybelline, it is AMAZING! ive been wearing it for years, its great for highlighting your eyes, it really makes them pop. but its still light and somewhat natural looking. urban decay! they have the best shimmery eye shadow! they're sold at sephora or online. also, bourjois (also sephora) has little shimmery eyeshadows too.
I love Mac eyeshadows.
Do you have a Sephora near you? Go there, tell the sales girl what you want, she will point you in the direction of brand is good. These people don't work on commission, so there is no pressure to buy and they don't push brands on you.
i LOVE urban decay. it is available at Sephora stores and online or even at urban outfitters. i like ';Grifter'; which is a more purple shade or ';cherry'; that is baby pink. its more costly than something like covergirl but it wears MUCH better.

if you want something cheaper i would recommend covergirl. they have a compact that has three shades. one purple, baby pink, and a dark mix of the two.

NYC cosmetics has a pretty shimmery eyshadow. It's a loose powder and its subtle i think its called NYC sparkle eye dust and its about $3
Lancome is the best out there but pricey. MAC is good because it has a lot of colors to choose from and not so expensive.
Mary Kate %26amp; Ashley have an excellent line of makeup which includes a great selection of shimmering shadows. Almost all department stores carry this brand.

Bare essentials has some really shimmery pinks and other colors. I'm just getting into their products and I like them so far.
I like the maybeline mousse shadows- they are easy to apply, the colors are pretty, and they are not expensive at all
