i love eyeshadow but hate brushes because there's always excess that falls everywhere, so i just want a nice, neat pencil.
i just dont know where to shop. i tried target, but only rimmel had color eyeliner pencils that could be used as eyeshadow, which is cool too, but there were only like, two colors. can anyone name brands or stores where i could get a nice selection? i'm a student so i dont have much to spend. thanks.

Wet n Wild, Maybelline, Revlon and Cover Girl are all good, cheap brands. They've got those brands at any drugstore.
Walmart has some buy some really cheap brands like Luv My Eyes. They're about $.50 or $.99 or so, but they're not bad.

at wal-mart you can get the cheap ones for like $7-10. the best brands are bonnebelle, wet and wild, maybelline, rimmel, almay. have fun and look out for good bargains!
For great looking eyes make sure to use powder shadows for a natural look and a eyeliner pencil for drama at night. Make sure the liner has a smudge tip at one end to get that smoky eye look. Only line the top of the eye is you're looking tired. You don't want to bring more attention to dark circles under the eyes. Neutral tones with a hint of color are flattering on everybody.
