With a dress like that, there are many eyeshadow colors that would look good with it. To being with, you NEED to know what color your shoes are going to be. Otherwise, you might get some miss matching going. In other words, you eye shadow color can/should be the same color as your shoes. In this case, colors such as sliver, gold or black would be good.
I did this for a wedding and it looked great! Light pink from lid to brow and then charcoal grey on lid and crease.... smooth it to blend it and then use black liner on lid and underneath, black mascara. Gives you smokey eyes with a hint of feminitity with the pink peeking out...

white eye shadow...ummm never! go smokey but not tammy faye.....
i usually take the charcoal gray (usually with a slight glimmer or shimmer) and use it to line lower lashes....also highlight with pink shadow....but make sure the pink is noticeable but subtle and barely there.
you could wear silver/gold eyeliner with white eyeshadow, or wear the eyeliner with silver/gold glitter dust pink and gold or silver and pink go really well together i think.

white and a lite pink would look really good white and a litter color always complements what your wearing ........................................鈥?pink!!
