What colours for eyeshadow instead of pink?

i have a really nudey pink dress and black shoes to wear soon and i would have worn a pink eyeshadow with it but pink on my eyes makes me look ill! i was wondering what other colours would go?What colours for eyeshadow instead of pink?

i think you should go for the 'smokey' eye look - just because your dress is a very girly color, it would make you look more funky if you used black, dark grey 'sparkling' colors on your eyes. also this will look really great and will pick up your eyes because your shoes are also black.

Maybe you still can use pink. Use silver or white shadow on top and some eyeliner (mainly on your bottom eyelid). Just try putting a thin layer of the pink underneath your eyes and bring it past the outside corner a little (along with the liner). See how that looks
A smoky eye would be the best. Start with a dark smoky or shimmery silver for the lids with a dark grey or black in the crease of your eye and highlight the brow bone with a shimmery white shadow.
do a smokey grey/blue. it will look good with the pink dress. not intense dark blue though, maybe just a little lighter than the grey and mix the colors. and put some underneath your eye, too.
